Here are the steps to do it:
Step 1: Turn Off Water Supply
To avoid flooding, shut off the water supply to the faucet. This is usually done by turning the valves under the sink.
Step 2: Disassemble Faucet
Remove the handle and any other parts to access the valve. Use a screwdriver or wrench as needed.
Step 3: Inspect and Replace Parts
Check for worn-out washers, O-rings, or cartridges and replace them with new ones. These parts are often the cause of leaks and drips.
Step 4: Reassemble and Test
Put the faucet back together and turn the water supply back on. Test the faucet to ensure there are no leaks and it operates smoothly.
